Circulation FAQS

Why are my feet always so cold?

There are a couple of different possible explanations as to why your feet are cold, and it is difficult to provide an accurate diagnosis without seeing you here at our Manalapan podiatrist office. That said, a common cause for feet that are always cold is peripheral arterial disease (PAD).

This circulation issue affects many Americans and, in some cases, can exist without symptoms being evident. When they are present, other warning signs can include intermittent claudication (pain or cramping following physical activity), leg weakness or numbness, sores that do not heal properly, and a weak or nonexistent pulse in the feet or legs.

Suffering from cold feet? Make sure to come see us at A Step Up Podiatry, LLC and we will provide a diagnosis to determine if the cause is PAD or some other issue. Once we have established the root cause, we will create a treatment plan to address your condition.
